Network marketing news of the best kind! Squidoo just released a list of intended site policy changes that will make life much better for attraction marketers and internet network markters doing business there.

The goal of these policy changes is to increase the VALUE of the content being posted on Squidoo. With that in mind if you are providing VALUE to your visitor with your Squidoo content, as all Renegade Professional students are taught to do, these changes will bring a smile to your face and you’ll do just fine.

When ever changes like these are made to a content sharing site or when you inadvertently get into trouble with one of them (as I did… see here for details) it’s best to look at it as a learning experience. Sites such as Squidoo & Hubpages pay many experts BIG MONEY to determine how to best provide value to their visitors. This is YOUR opportunity to leverage off their investment. Learn from them what is optimal and adjust your content creation accordingly.

To that end, here’s a heads up straight from Squidoo on the changes coming in mid July…

1. No Spam. This one's not new, but it's worth saying again.

It's simple: given our pedigree, our point of view and our dyed-in-the-wool, we-will-never-change-our-mind conviction on this issue, spam is not okay at Squidoo. For a few years now we have had a very strict and enforced stance against spam. That's staying the same, and if anything, getting even more rigorous. If you actively spam people with your Squidoo lenses (by email, in blog comments, by stalking and harassing people on Twitter, by tricking people with the content in your lenses, and more) we'll lock your entire account.

2. No more X-rated or Porn lenses

If you came to Squidoo to create X-rated or pornographic content, the time has come to say farewell. We're not discontinuing these lenses because we've suddenly grown shy, or because we no longer believe in the freedom to publish what you want. We do. Practically though, supporting X-rated pages no longer makes sense, and it invites more spam and empty traffic and wasted overhead than anything. Find out more about why we're making this very hard decision, and what it means for your X-rated lenses. (Don't panic! You can export your content and take it with you).

3. No Junk Topics from our "SquidDon't" List

Lenses on free movie downloads. Toenail fungus cures. LoseBellyFatNow promotions. Reverse Phone Lookup 4U. You know junk when you see it. And lots more examples.

Unforunately, topics like these are overwhelmingly conditioned and proven to attract spammers. If a topic has displayed enough trickery and spam and bad activity, we choose not to support it. If we find a lens on a SquidDon't topic or something very similar to it, we'll lock it. For good. Our best recommendation: Don't bother with topics like these. There's plenty of incredible stuff to write about and recommend online without having to go near the edges of what we're got going here.

4. A new limit on overly promotional lenses

Making a lens to promote or recommend something is a terrific endeavor. It's a big part of why a lot of our people are here. But: Less is more! Sales lenses far too often turn into junk lenses, as described by the relentless number of outbound links to the same exact domain. Being overly promotional rarely works. "Buy here buy here buy here!" never does.

So to help you focus your lenses, and sell even better--and to help surfers find our pages more useful overall--we're introducing a limit to the number of outbound links to the same domain that you can have on a lens. If you have more than 9 links to the SAME domain on a single lens, your lens will get locked for review. Of course we'll have domains that are whitelisted out of this (meaning, you can have as many outbound links to them as you like), as well as sites that are blacklisted (meaning, even a single link to that domain will get your lens locked).

Of these changes the one most likely to affect internet network marketers trained and other Renegade Professionals most is #4’s limit on OUTBOUND links. I encourage you to become familiar with these new rules NOW and adjust your content accordingly so you’ll have no problems when the changes take effect in mid July.

Simply making the decision to partner with Renegade Professional and put a stop to all the old worn out network marketing games you've taught to do is a BIG step!  You are now an Attraction Marketer... Pat yourself on the back for it!

Some folks have come to me and said...

"Shelly, I'm worried my stuff isn't good enough. I'm not happy with my content. I look stiff in my videos or I can't think of things to talk about. I'm just not creative."

My response is, "Bologna!"

If you have done anything at all in the 4 weeks since joining Renegade Professional you are WAY ahead of the game. Many folks have been toying with internet attraction marketing for a long time and are afraid or unwilling to step out there and begin. They have yet to create any serious content or make even one video.

So give yourself credit for what you have achieved.

Is all your stuff perfect? No. Will it ever be? No.

The key is to keep moving forward. Each video or piece of content you make will make it that much easier to do the next one.  Each tutorial you watch, each internet network marketing tool you master (such as Squidoo, HubPages or YouTube) will make you just that much more confident and "attractive" as a leader in your industry.

It took me MONTHS to make my first video. It was a disaster! Many of my videos now are disasters... the lighting's bad, I stutter or say the wrong thing... but now I can laugh at myself and others laugh with me. Our mistakes make us human and approachable.

You have great ideas in you. You just don't know it yet. As long as you are honest and tell it like it is. People will respect that. The rest comes with time and practice.

As for being "creative"... bells and whistles don't really matter. As long as you are providing accurate information straight from your heart and experience you will develop an audience. People want to know how it is in the trenches.

Here's a content creation tip for you that I use to this day...

Keep a list of questions you have. Find the answers to those questions. Then make content answering that question!

If you had a question about something you can bet 100's of others do too, but they don't know how to find the answers or are too afraid to ask. Answer those questions for them, solve their problems, and you'll be a hero/expert/leader in their eyes.

Congratulate yourself! You were smart and brave enough to start down this internet attraction marketing road. Now you need the vision and persistance to see it thru. Success comes only to those who go the distance.

Yes, Renegade Professional Re-Opens To Internet Network Marketing Students for 2 Days Only!

The launch of the Renegade Professional internet network marketing training program was a huge success...You could say Too Successful!

Many people got up at odd hours and some even took time off work or hired baby sitters so that they could enroll in Renegade Professional on the day.

Although Ann & Mike had prepared for the day by purchasing 2 new servers to handle the load it just didn't work out the way they

had hoped and many people were unable to get in...

Ann & Mike felt pretty bad about this so they’ve hired extra support staff and have re-opened the program for 2 days (Monday April 6^th & Tuesday April 7^th) so people who missed out can have a chance to get in.

How excited were people about this training? Here’s what a Steve Anderson told me about one person he knows…

“One fellow Australia called me at about 9:00am after the sign up day (it opened here in Australia at 2:00am!) and he told me that he hadn't been to bed.

I asked him if the sign up was that bad...he responded that the training was that good that he had spent the last 5 hours going through it.

 

This gentleman had been in and out of many Internet training sites over the last few years and so he was very worried that the Renegade Pro would be like all the rest...full of gaps or too technical to understand.

That morning he called me just to say thanks for introducing him to the training, we were both happy campers (I'd seen the training so I figured he would be happy, but he was actually thrilled).”

Be aware… after these 2 days are up Mike & Ann will stop taking new students into Renegade Professional internet network marketing training for a while so we all can focus on supporting our newly enrolled students. Renegade Professional Welcomes a New Class of Excited Internet Network Marketing Students and So does ShellyB, The Rat Race Rebel!

Of course your individual guides will be contacting you shortly if they haven’t already done so. But I wanted to extend my congratulations to EACH New Renegade Professional Student for taking this step to move yourself and your business to the success you so richly deserve! I'd also like to give you a little advice to help guide you thru these first thrilling days.

When you first get inside your Renegade Professional internet network marketing training campus it can be a little overwhelming. Don’t worry and Don’t PANIC!

Take a few hours or even a whole day to look around and become familiar with everything that’s available to you. It’s very exciting and there’s a lot there. I know I felt like a kid in a candy shop when I first entered Renegade Professional a year ago and it’s only BETTER now!!!

BUT…Do Not Get Off Track!

It’s so tempting to just select one of the Shiny New Toys and start playing with it. But listen… this is very important… Go back to the “The Start Here Check List " and begin working your way thru it! And don't forget to save the "90 day action guide" to your computer for easy reference. You'll find it at the bottom of “The Start Here Check List” (it's a big red button which says “Click Here For Action Guide”)

Your “Start Here Check List” contains information on how to use Renegade Professional and all the tools you’ll find in there. There is also valuable information on how to present yourself as a professional. Many, many marketers skip this important step only to have it bite them in the butt later on. Then they are forced to go back and make many changes to “polish” or improve their image. Far better to project an air of professionalism from the start, than to try and impose it later!

Most importantly remember… do not become overwhelmed by it all. Rome was not built in a day and neither will your business be. Best of all, you do not have to “Go It Alone!” There are many people and tools to help guide you on the path to internet network marketing success. For example there are many useful tools for you and your team inside The Rec-Room.
