Lately there&rsquo;s been a lot of &ldquo;buzz&rdquo; about using a &ldquo;new&rdquo; technique called attraction marketing. <br /><br />I&rsquo;d like to share a personal example with you of how attraction marketing (which is all about providing solutions for peoples problems) not only works but is a total win, win situation for both your prospects and you.<br /><br />Today I had a lady call me for help with a candle business issue (many of you may know one of my income streams involves gourmet candles). This lady already has a home candle business and makes her own candles, something she enjoys and takes pride in. Her specific question was about "candle making" not network marketing, internet marketing or even my candles.<br /><br />After chatting with her for 20 min or so about her specific problem, her business in general and suggesting several things (solutions) that might fix her specific candle making issue&hellip; <br /><br />She Asked Me to tell her about my candle business and how I dealt with similar issues!<br /><br />It doesn't get any sweeter than that. Are you getting this?<br /><br /><strong>Because I used attraction marketing techniques</strong> and took an interest in her and her problems&hellip; because I didn&rsquo;t try to pitch her, heck I never even brought up my opportunity&hellip; because I put myself out there to be found and actually tried to help her&hellip;<br /><br /><strong>She ASKED Me about my network marketing opportunity!</strong><br /><br />This doesn&rsquo;t happen when you pitch people. When you pitch someone they are fighting to get off the phone with you. If you caught their attention online they are clicking on to the next site. Pitches do not work! Helping people is what works!<br /><br />One of the things that struck me about my conversation with this lady was she said flat out that she had never called anyone she&rsquo;d found on the internet before. But because I had my picture on each page and put my home phone number there for the whole world to see, she thought I &ldquo;might&rdquo; be for real and not a scam.<br /><br />Do you see how skeptical the "old school" used care salesman network marketing approach of prospecting has made folks? <br /><br />Anyway, the long and short of the story is&hellip; because I helped this woman solve Her problem she was VERY willing to learn about my opportunity. <br /><br />In fact, she was so excited about the idea of adding another income stream to her existing business (and not having to "make" the product") she's off doing her due diligence right now and I'm supposed to call her Monday to answer her questions.<br /><br />So I guess all this is to say, what all the Guru&rsquo;s are saying about attraction marketing is true.</p>
<p><strong>Attraction Marketing really works!</strong><br /><br />Help people... don't pitch them! They'll be so happy to find a real person to help with their problems, them they'll do the work for you. Heck they may even send other folks to you. And even if they aren&rsquo;t interested in your primary opportunity, I know you&rsquo;re smart enough to have many solutions up your sleeve that will be helpful to your prospects and put money into your pocket! <br /><br />But that&rsquo;s a topic for another day ;)<br /><br />How do you apply attraction marketing to your business?
