Attraction Marketing: A New Email Marketing Strategy.

The newest use for attraction marketing is your email marketing strategy. |
We all know attraction marketing really has three main phases.
- People find your content on the internet.
- They give you permission to contact them in some way.
- Then you give value to them, building a relationship making them more receptive to any future offer you may send their way.
It is in this third phase that attraction marketing meets your email marketing strategy.
What you share with your email list must be all about VALUE. And I mean value to your prospect. This is the time for you to be as giving as you possibly can.
Your prospect MUST see your emails as interesting and worthwhile or they won’t even open them much less read and act upon the information within.
An example of the type of information you might find in a good email marketing strategy would be:
- Time Sensitive Announcements such as live webinars.
- Updates to critical content or interest to your list
- Referrals to archived events or past blog postings of interest.
What ever you send out be sure it’s relevant and USEFUL. Do not send out emails chock full of links to special offers or blatant sales pages. Your prospect will be gone before you can type out “unsubscribe”!
Used effectively, your email marketing strategy will help you build a relationship with your prospects. It could even attract prospects to you if there’s enough value in the mailings.
What do I mean by this? If your emails are so full of helpful information that the folks on your list feel compelled to share them with their friends… Your email marketing strategy just went viral. It is now an attraction marketing tool in and of itself. Moving up itself into phase one of the cycle where more and more people are exposed to you.
